Course & Exams

  • Upon completion, when will I receive my certificate of completion?

You are able to receive your certificate of completion immediately after passing the course (if the course is taken online)! The certificates will be automatically emailed to you and can be found on your dashboard. For in-person courses, certificates are emailed or mailed upon verification of attendance, completion and passing score on the post-test, and the post-course evaluations.

  • How long can I access my certificate?

Certificates can be accessed anytime on your dashboard once it’s earned.

  • What happens if I fail a course?

If you fail the exam on your first try, don’t worry! You are able to retake the exam two more times.

  • How many times can I retake the quiz if I fail the first time?

You need to achieve a score of at least 70% or higher on the exam/post-test in order to pass the course/module. If you fail an exam/post-test, you will be given two more chances to retake the test. However, in order to protect the integrity of our services, this is the maximum amount of retries we will be able to offer you.

  • Where can I find a list of courses that I’ve completed?

You can view the list of your completed courses by logging in to your dashboard.

  • Why are the courses labeled "Pre-order" not clickable?

The courses that are labeled "pre-order" are currently in process of being made available in an asynchronous format OR were recently taught in person or LIVE and are being transformed to be available for distance learners as a recorded webinar. They are not ready yet; however, they will be available soon.

Payment

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major bank cards/credit cards through Thinkific Payments, Stripe, and PayPal. In some cases, where applicable, you may see the option to pay in installments (but this will rarely be the case for most of our courses).

  • How are continuing education units/credits calculated?

We are following the formula as instructed by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and as shown on their website, in which 10 contact hours of instruction equals 1 IACET Continuing Education Unit. Lectures that are more than 30 minutes are rounded up to the next hour, equaling to 0.1 CEU. Breaks, lunches, and introductions that do not relate to the course content cannot be counted towards CEU hours and credit. For additional information about IACET, please see their website at About The CEU.

  • How do contact hours convert to CEUS?

A learning event is proposed (using all the required iBRAIN processes for course development), submitted, and reviewed by the Chief Education Officer (Director of Professional & Continuing Education). Once approval is granted of the submitted materials, the next step is to conduct a pilot program during which the iBRAIN IACET CEU calculation/ worksheet is completed to determine the number of CEUs to be awarded. Each subsequent time the learning event is scheduled, the Chief Education Officer will assess if there have been changes made to the course content, method of delivery, equipment used, and/or type of demographic of participants since the pilot program was conducted and CEUs were calculated.
